Los Venados Andover

The same A1 Special that we love from El Terraro in Cortland. They also give you Cole slaw with chips while you wait like in Cortland which is delicious and unique as well especially if you can't eat salsa. The watermelon margarita was excellent. Miss the old Scooters bar and staff but a very nice replacement. Will stop in again next time we're in the area.

We attended a lecture in Andover and wanted to get dinner before driving home. There were few options. But we found a Mexican restraunt midway between Andover and Lake Pymatuning of all places. We found it. Plenty of parking. Good signage. Interior wasMexican-ish. Low key but bright and clean. There was no crowd so we were seated immediately. The menu was large, 10 pages with detailed writeups on everything. It took us a while to plow thru it. We snacked on the chips and salsa as we selected. I ordered the Maco Mucho Burrito and my companion the Quesadilla de Cameron's. Our food appeared in under 10 minutes. The food portions were HUGE. Nicely plated and presented. The seasoning profile was not what I expected. Very little citrus or coriander. Faint cumin. The poblano pepper really popped. The shrimp was nicely done. The chicken and chorizo added a nice layer. I didn't really care for the quest sauce. It was too thin for my taste. Did I mention the HUGE portion. I also want to mention the friendly and professional service. I think this location was selected to serve vacationers. In any case we had an unexpected great meal and good memories of nice food and HUGE portions.

We LOVED this new to us Mexican spot! Possibly the best chips and salsa we've had! Food was delicious and large portions. See photo of our stack of leftovers going home with us. Forgot to take pics of food because we were starving and dove in! Our server was wonderful!

Awesome food and atmosphere. The chips and salsa are tasty and are complimentary. The chicken was really tasty. I did not love the barria tacos, but everything else was delicious

We love this restaurant. Everyone on staff are great people. But tonight, we were given plastic straws. If the owners happen to see this, I hope they reconsider... While paper straws are often promoted as a more sustainable alternative to plastic straws, recent studies have shown that they may not be better for human health due to the presence of PFAS chemicals. These "forever chemicals" are used to make paper straws water-resistant and can leach into drinks, potentially causing various health problems.

We went in as a family of 7 and were be able to be sat immediately. Very nice, spacious, great atmosphere and the staff is very kind, courteous, professional, quick, and efficient. Our waitress was doing several big parties all at once and did so gracefully! Also - the BEST MEXICAN RICE I have ever had! I would go back alone for the rice!!!

The food is flavorful and has great portions! The staff is very friendly and attentive, and you will not be disappointed. Best place around!

I couldn't be happier with my experience here! The food was delicious and came out very quickly. The portions were huge! Service was excellent as well. I haven't had good Mexican food like this since I moved from the Bay Area and I'm so excited that I found this place. Highly recommend! I will be coming back often lol
